2. Product requirements in the destination country
Many countries require a drone to meet national product rules before it is sold or used. In the UAE, the UAE Scheme for Drone Products and Systems applies, with documents issued by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology for the specific model. In the European Union, product, radio and drone regulations apply, and the operating category does not exempt a drone from product requirements.
3. Radio equipment
Remote controllers, video links and radio modules usually need type approval in the country of use, for example from TDRA in the UAE. A certificate from another country does not automatically replace it.
4. Operation
Owning a drone is not a permission to fly it. Operators usually need an organisation registration, trained pilots and specific approvals for each operation, especially for flights beyond visual line of sight, over people, with heavy aircraft or for aerial spraying. In the UAE, the General Civil Aviation Authority and, in Dubai, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority are responsible. Check current notices and temporary restrictions before every flight.
5. Export control
Some products, sensors, software and technology are controlled for export, depending on their specifications, the destination, the recipient and the end use. In the UAE the Executive Office for Control and Non-Proliferation is responsible. An end-user statement and a government permit may be needed before shipment.
6. Humanoid robots
Robots are machinery with electrical, battery and radio components. Plan supervised operation, a safety zone, a risk assessment and integration for your site. A research platform is not a finished production system.

- Configuration and scope of delivery
- Price, currency and payment schedule
- Incoterms 2020 rule with named place
- Indicative lead time, confirmed after availability and approvals
- Warranty terms as stated by the manufacturer for the model
- Documents available for the model
