Payload and endurance
Payload and endurance trade off against each other. The CSY4430 and CSY6630 carry about 30 kg; the CSY100 octocopter carries up to 100 kg and the CSY200 up to 200 kg, with endurance of 20 to 30 minutes according to the manufacturer. Plan missions with reserves for wind, temperature and altitude.
Safety and approvals
Drones with a take-off mass of 25 kg or more are treated as high-risk operations in most countries. Operators usually need a specific authorisation, trained crews, ground-risk mitigation and an exclusion zone below the flight path. Heavy-lift platforms are offered only to business operators who can show these approvals or are applying for them.
