Typical uses
- Locomotion and balance control research
- Manipulation research with dexterous hands (T800 Pro)
- Reinforcement learning with simulation-to-real transfer using Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab (PM01)
- Human-robot interaction, reception and showroom demonstrations under supervision
Choosing a platform
The T800 is a 1.73 m robot with planetary and linear force-controlled joints, 450 N·m peak joint torque according to the manufacturer, stereo vision with LiDAR and an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64 GB. The Development Edition has 25 degrees of freedom; the Pro adds 7-DoF arms and dexterous hands for 43 in total. The PM01 is a lighter 1.40 m platform with 24 joints and a 100 TOPS Jetson Orin, with open high- and low-level APIs.
A research platform, not a finished production system
These robots are development platforms. Using them in a production process or with the public needs your own integration, risk assessment and safety concept.
Safe operation
- Operate under supervision by trained staff
- Keep a clear safety zone; consider crushing, fall and collision risks
- Use the stop functions supplied with the robot and define an emergency procedure
- Check electrical, radio and battery requirements in your country
